We are the first independent control body that rigorously tests cosmetic and textile products for the impact on the skin’s microbiome. Based on human microbes we have developed a standardized test which creates clear, significant results referring to the latest scientific findings. The tests are performed in qualified laboratories in Germany and give information about the influence of products on key species within the skin microbiome. The product shall leave the skin microbiome intact and respect the diversity and balance of the skin microbiome. A balanced skin microbiome is key for a healthy skin barrier.
